WordCamp Maui is happening this Friday and Saturday, February 13th and 14th. Sorry friends, the entire event sold out in less than 57 days. On the bright side, more than 200 technologically savvy people (geeks) are “not alone” on Valentines Day. We’re in this together, united on a common front, and most importantly, LOVE is definitely in the air… Recently Elena Rego wrote an article on the WordCamp Maui blog, “friendships will be born and much will be learned.” This inspired me to write this all-important “followup article” here. Running a close second to merely “getting the most out of WordCamp Maui 2015” is finding geek love! It is quite possible that many of the attendees, speakers, sponsors and event organizers might be single. You never know unless you ask. But here are some clever things that’ll help you find love and perhaps get lei’d at WordCamp Maui 2015: 1. Be Prepared You never know when the need for energy and vitality may present itself. You don’t want to seem dull or lacking in vibrant energy, so be sure to eat a good breakfast before you arrive at WordCamp. “We will have coffee, water and tea at the venue Friday and Saturday with some pastries too” (aww, that’s sweet).
