Add a Badge to a WordPress Blog: Click on appearance Still on step one by the way: but after when you click on appearance you need to click on widgets. Select the “TEXT” widget and drag into your blog’s sidebar you’ll see it. Click on the arrow which is one the right, of the “TEXT” widget. Copy and paste HTML code for badge into “TEXT” widget.
