Genesis Camp, a community-organized and run event specifically for Genesis WordPress professionals, kicks off this Saturday, July 18.

This free, online event is geared towards web developers, designers, project managers, and others that work with and build sites on the Genesis Framework. The event will be streaming online over a 24-hour period.

The final session times are being locked in over the next couple of days—you check the schedule here for more information.

What You Can Expect

There will be lots of WordPress experts there, speaking on a variety of different topics: Chris Lema will be giving some tips for closing deals and Troy Dean will be talking about recurring revenue, for example. There are roughly 24 other sessions scheduled throughout the weekend.

There will be a number of panels, featuring people like Alain Schlesser, Bill Errikson, Chris Cochran, Wes Linda, Joe Dooley, and Jesse Peterson. The panels will discuss topics like development workflow and collaborating with other designers and developers.

Two of your favorite WordPress podcasts will also be featured: Carrie Dills from Office Hours FM as well as Ben Furfie and Gary Jones from the UK Genesis podcast.

How To Attend

To attend this online event, all you need is a cup of coffee, your laptop, and an internet connection. Just sit back in your lounge room, perhaps even stay in bed.

The event will be streaming online all weekend—sign up here to get more information through this week.
