Last year’s WordCamp US was a huge success. People gathered in Philly to eat cheesesteaks and talk about all things WordPress. Tickets for next year are already on sale, and today, organizers put out the call for speakers.

“WordCamp US showcases the best of WordPress and the WordPress Community. We’re particularly interested in hearing from those who have used WordPress in interesting, innovative, and significant ways,” the announcement said.

The team also wants to hear from users utilizing WordPress for small businesses and people outside the WordPress community. Get a look at anyone utilizing an open source project or just developing a website.

If you are unsure how you would craft a talk, check out last year’s list of presentations for some inspiration. Anyone interested in speaking should head to the application page and apply before midnight PDT on Aug. 31.

WordCamp US will be in Philadelphia, Pa. on Dec. 2-4. Torque will be there and we hope to see you too!
