After a number of years in the business, my take is that after a while, you're going to end up dissatisfied with the CMS you're using. Usually, the story goes like this: Start with the latest version of the best platform of the day Add a lot of extensions that you just need to have Create a great design that uniquely represents your brand Add just a couple custom extensions that you absolutely need Put the tracking code for the 3 services - wait 5 - ok, no more than 8 services you're using Find a replacement for your website's lead developer who got bored and quit Try doing an upgrade, only to find out that nothing's documented as well as it should be and that most modules are not compatible with the latest version of your CMS Once you've gone through that cycle a couple times, you end up thinking that there is no "best" CMS platform :-)
